What INCOSE is all about
The International Council on Systems Engineering (INCOSE) is a not-for-profit membership organization founded to develop and disseminate the interdisciplinary principles and practices that enable the realization of successful systems.
The International Council on Systems Engineering has established a multi-level Professional SEP Certification Program to provide a formal method for recognizing the knowledge and experience of systems engineers, regardless of where they may be in their career.
Processes and Techniques
Systems engineering is a well-developed body of knowledge, techniques, and methodologies in general use throughout technically complex industries.
The Systems Modeling Language (SysML) is general purpose visual modeling language for systems engineering applications.
What Makes Our Chapter Unique?
The San Diego Chapter of INCOSE organizes educational and networking events for its members to develop, nurture, and enhance multi-disciplinary system development under the title of Systems Engineering. The San Diego Chapter of INCOSE earned the Gold Chapter Award for 2015. What is Systems Engineering? Systems Engineering is an interdisciplinary approach and means to enable the realization of successful systems. It focuses on defining customer needs and required functionality early in the development cycle, documenting requirements, then proceeding with design synthesis and system validation while considering the complete problem.
