Dear Members and Friends!
The Los Angels and San Diego chapters of INCOSE are now accepting applications to present at the 2026 LA-SD Joint Technical Conference, to be held at the California Institute of Technology (Caltech) in Pasadena, California (Los Angeles) on November 7 and 8, 2026.

This year’s event will comprise both presentations and tutorials (up to 4 hours) on both days – please apply to present! We will also offer a student poster session for interested student teams.
THIS YEAR’S SCHEDULE
This year’s event will be held on SATURDAY, Nov 7th and SUNDAY, Nov 8th, both days from 9am – 5pm. Our conference will include a SEP paper exam on FRIDAY, Nov 6th, also to be held at Caltech.
Technical presentations will go approximately 45 minutes each. Please size your material accordingly. Laptops will be provided by the conference organizers.
SUBMISSION PROCESS
All applications will be collected via EasyChair, the online conference management system. If you do not already have an EasyChair account, you can create one for free. Please submit your proposal using the following URL:

* Please indicate in your Abstract whether you are proposing a presentation or a tutorial. If a tutorial, also specify the length you would like. We recommend that all tutorials be three hours or less. Thank you!
SUBMISSION DEADLINE
Please submit your proposals no later than TUESDAY, September 8th.
SUGGESTED PRESENTATION TOPICS
You are FREE to submit a proposal on any topic you would like that is related to Systems Engineering. We will also accept papers as part of the submission process, but all applications must still include an Abstract.

UPON ACCEPTANCE
If accepted, each presenter will also be asked to provide a short biography and a portrait image. You will also be asked to submit a release for us to post the slide deck to our conference website afterwards.
DECISION DATE
You will be notified of the decision to accept or reject the proposal by Sunday, 20 September, 2026.
