Our next meeting will be on Wednesday, February 18th, and the topic is one that every systems engineer should become familiar with. Do you understand logistics, and have you included all of your project’s logistics requirements in your sytem spec? What about maintenance requirements in the field or depot, and what about the needs of your parts of the supply chain?
Our speaker, Ed Welch, has more than 30 years of logistics analysis and engineering experience that includes electrical and electronic systems, configuration management, facility planning, and reliability/maintainability analysis. Ed has developed a logistics curriculum, and teaches at the University of California San Diego.
