Dr. James Short of the UCSD San Diego Supercomputer Center (SDSC) will deliver a presentation on a course on Data Science for Systems Engineering that is currently being developed through a collaboration between UCSD and the San Diego INCOSE chapter.  He will be joined by co-contributors to the development of the course.  The presentation will be followed by a special tour of the data center at the SDSC.  This meeting is meant to be interactive so try to think of scenarios that Systems Engineers encounter in which Data Science could be useful.  The scenario you suggest could become a case study for the course!

Dinner will be provided ($5 for members, $10 for non-members).  The doors to the facility close at 5.  There will be someone at the lobby to greet attendees and let them into the building until the meeting starts at 5:30.Due to this, if you are going to be late please email prior to 5:30 pm so arrangements can be made to let you in.
