Call for Presentations for the Dec 2023 INCOSE San Diego Chapter 1-Day Conference

Dear Systems Engineering Professionals!

We are excited to announce and offer you to opportunity to present at the INCOSE San Diego Chapter 1-Day Conference, our annual gathering of systems engineering experts, practitioners, and researchers!  This conference is scheduled for Saturday, December 2nd, 2023, in San Diego, California!

About the Conference:

Our annual one-day conference is intended provide our members a fun-filled, educational exchange of SE knowledge, insights, and best practices!  The conference will offer an excellent opportunity for learning in the areas of complex system design, development, integration, and management, all in a single day event.

Call for Presenters:

Please submit a topic for in-person presentation at our conference!  Topics of interest include (but are not limited to):

  • Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning (AI/ML)
  • Agile and DevSecOps
  • Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE)
  • Systems Thinking
  • Human Systems Integration (HSI)
  • Systems Architecture and Design
  • Systems Integration and Verification
  • Requirements
  • Reliability and Safety
  • Emerging Technologies
  • Education and Training
  • Best Practices
  • And more!

Please note – All professionals are welcome to submit a proposal, not just INCOSE members.

Submission Guidelines:

Please submit a topic addressing one or more of the conference topics. We require

– Your name
– Proposed presentation’s title
– Synopsis (1-3 paragraphs)
– A short biography and photo for each of the presenters

 

Important Dates:

Submission deadline: Sunday, September 17th, 2023

Notification of acceptance: September 24th, 2023
PowerPoint or Adobe Acrobat presentation file [must be presentation-ready]: November 20th, 2023.  Please note that you are still welcome to email or bring along an updated presentation file after that date.

The conference venue is still being finalized. It will, however, be conveniently located in central San Diego.
