Abstract: What does it take to get great photographs? Like systems engineering, a disciplined approach. While photography is a combination of technical skill and artistic vision, there are also many processes involved, which are based on questions:

  • What do you want to photograph?
  • What are the conditions?
  • What are your tools (and do you know them well enough to effectively use them)?

Like systems engineering, taking the right approach in photography can put you in the best position for success.  This presentation will discuss the fundamentals of successful modern day digital photography and how they align with SE practices.
