2023 STEM Celebration – A Fun Evening at Dave & Busters in Mission Valley!
Come join us at our yearly INCOSE San Diego Science-Technology-Engineering-Mathematics (STEM) celebration honoring our Teachers and Students and their STEM projects, sponsored by generous STEM donations of San Diego corporations, individuals, and INCOSE members!
This year we are hosting our fun event at the Dave & Busters restaurant in Mission Valley, with games, food and drinks! All kids will also receive a $20 game card.

Time: 4:00pm – 7:00pm (3 Hours)

Cost: $15 per ticket, or $50 Family Pack (includes 2 Adults and 2 Children). Children under 5 are free! (You may also pay at the door, although pre-registration is highly encouraged since it helps us plan ahead). Register
Parking at the restaurant is free.
This event’s open to all, so please invite friends and coworkers with families who would like to celebrate STEM projects and have a great time at Dave & Busters!
Please join us for our 2023 SD INCOSE Science-Technology-Engineering-Math (STEM) celebration in honor of our San Diego county teachers and students. The event includes:
- Dinner and soft drinks (bar drinks available for adults)
- $20 game card for each kid!
- Presentation of science projects by the 2022 STEM award recipients!
- Raffle and prizes
We will also see GREAT DEMONSTRATIONS of the 2022 STEM team projects! Please see below for full information on last year’s recipients of the chapter grants:
- Poway High School – FRC Team Spyder – Robotic parts for FRC Regional competition
- FRC Team NOMAD – FIRST robotic parts and event registration fees
- San Marcos High School – Skateboard fabrication kits
- Expanding Your Horizons San Diego – Bus transportation for under-represented girls to attend STEM conference
- Casita Center for Technology, Science and Math – 3D printers for Imagineering Labs
- Ada Harris Elementary Schools – 3D printers to design toys
- McAuliffe Elementary School – Hands-on Birch Aquarium Outreach
The event will be at DAVE & BUSTERS in Mission Valley, an arcade-style sports bar & restaurant that guarantees a fun time for all ages! Activities include
- games
- billiards
- large-screen TVs and sports events
- party rooms, and
- bar
We will have a dedicated room to hold the event.
All kids will receive a free $20 game card for the arcade.
Dinner will be buffet style and include:
- Paninis buffet for adults
- Cheesburger buffet for kids
- Both buffets include sides with unlimited coffee, tea, and sodas
- Dave & Busters also offers a full bar & alcoholic beverages
Our event will also include a RAFFLE with cool prizes! Please inquire with the event officers once you arrive on how to obtain tickets. Proceeds go towards our STEM awards for 2023!
Would you like to sponsor a kid or team? The chapter is accepting gifts to help defray the costs of providing 4 free tickets to each of the 2022 STEM teams. Donations can be made for $15, or any multiple of such.
